more from the the typography front…
in doing some type research this weekend (yes, because isn’t that how everyone spends a rainy saturday?) i came across a post by Randolf Pfaff in which he described 2 things: #1 the cassette tape art that i discussed with brentabousko yesterday, and #2 a museum in germany dedicated to preserving type. (if it wasn’t so 2000 & late i’d say w00t!)
so natch, i sent an email to the closest people i could get to in germany, my buddy rob and my friend kari beth (via the netherlands). of course, even though i’ve lived in europe, i’m still of the assumption that anyone in europe can get anywhere in an hour. so i’ve requested both of them visit the museum and report back. i’ll letcha know.
